Happy Birthday Grandpa!!

As soon as I got the Camera out Corbin started fallowing me saying "Cheese". This is him holding on to my pants so that I could not walk without taking his picture! (please excuse the Doritos cheese on his face...whatever keeps them happy, right?)
And I guess Jiovan could not eat the cake fast enough with the fork so he resorted to this. No he has never seen anyone eat anything like this so he did not learn this horrible behaviour from me.

This is my dear, sweet Grandpa who turned a young 72 today! He is the sweetest Grandpa. He always loves to see us and Loves to make us laugh! We Love you!

*little update on Vic - He just left Spain heading for Korea to let them see him play. This is a killer 14.5 hour flight! He is on the flight as I type! - GOOD LUCK PAPI!

Swords

Almost our whole family was together for dear hunt and while everyone was hunting my mom and I had all 8 kids to take care of. One day when I ran to St. George (from Pine Valley) We got these foam swords for the kids. My kids had Blue, Crystals green and Josh's red. They had so much fun hitting each other playing pirates on the trampoline. Then they ran inside and attacked Grandma. So much fun with such a cheap toy!

Painting Pumpkins

We got all the grandkids ( minus My sister Michelle's kids, Raegan and Kyler) together and painted pumpkins grown in my Mom's garden. It was very quick but the kids loved it! Jiovan was a little worried about getting dirty but then went at it. even after his pumpkin was covered in paint he painted on the paper. Corbin didn't like it quite as much...I more forced it on him... He'll be thankful later...Right?

Vic's adventure

So Vic has had quite the trip to Spain...
First we woke up at 4:00 am to take him to St. George to catch the shuttle to vegas. We got there a little early but the shuttle never came! It was an hour past the time they leave when someone else that was waiting asked if he wanted a ride. So he went with her to the airport. Well as I'm driving back to my mom's house I see the the key light blinking (our car does not need the key in the ignition to start). Victor took my the keys. After a little mess Vic left them in Mesquite for me to get. Then he got to the airport and realized he left his sleeping pills in the suit case that he checked. Well then he gets to Barcelona and they wont let him go because he does not have a visa. (the owners of the team wrote a letter hoping i guess that it would let him in). He got there at 10 am and it is 9 pm right now. Unlike the movies where they are in a room with a table and chair they are being held in a room with a bunch of beds (no sheets). They are hoping he gets out tonight. If' he's still there at 9am tomorrow morning they will send him back home.

We are back!!

Okay so we got back a couple days ago. Vic's team lost in the semi-finals. Good, but bad. Right after we left they got hit by a hurricane and postponed the finals. I HATE traveling with kids. It's such a long flight and keeping kids contained (and quiet) on a plane for like 1000 hours is not an easy task. And can I just say that I freaking hate the economy right now?!?! The airlines have nothing for free. No drinks no crackers NOTHING! and we had to pay 15 dollars for the first checked back for each person and 25 for the second. arg! Although it was our lucky day. ALL of our bags were over weight and we planned a lot of time to rearrange bags and we got there and the guy said it didn't matter how much they weighed for the next few days! YAY!!
So we're back. Not for long just a quick visit. Victor left today to check out a team in Spain and maybe Italy and once things are decided the boys and I will be joining him. Yes, It's a crazy life, but it's the one I have. I enjoy seeing the world and I'm not too attached to my things that I can live with-out them. I love seeing the world and it's a once in a lifetime experience. I'm missing my hubby but hopefully it won't be too long.
